[DYSPHAGIA] A Question for Hospital SLPs

In response to your question, I work in a 350 bed acute care hospital that
encompasses and rehab and a SNU. The dysphagia case load is handled jointly
by the SLPs and the OTRs.

I don't know personally but I have been told that if a Medicare pt is
admitted to our
> SNU for therapy services that the evaluations must be completed with in 24

> snf. The average stay is 2-3 wks & there are no long term residents.
