[Dysphagia] MRSA and swallowing

I have a patient who has/had a moderate case of MRSA and is convinced that it caused his severe dysphagia. At present no cause can be found for the dysphagia and his recent prolonged hospital stay was for leg ulcers. I informed him that I didn't belive that MRSA could cause dysphagia and a brief search has not come up with anything linking the two. Can anyone provide any further information?
Thanks
Jennie Morgan
