** Certainly. And, since the available literature on aspiration of breast milk addresses only refluxed breast milk, there are no guidelines for oropharyngeal aspiration that may not be harmful at all.
How does the infant act duirng a feeding, if it is very stress full due to coughing, gagging/avoiding then oral feeding is not pleasant.
** Are there periods of apnea?
I would say breast milk is the best
** Definitely. The effort often required for accurate identification of the real problem with infants can be extremely discouragingespecially when faced with so many clinicians, each looking at only a part of the whole.
