[Dysphagia] wegener's

Funny, this question has come up.  We had a patient within the past month with Wegener's. One of her first symptoms was a globus sensation about 3-4 months prior to hospitalization. When she reported feeling something in the back of her throat, I thought it was just her ng tube, until I found out the duration of the symptom. Got on the web and found an excellent site from Baylor University, which explained the tie in--printed out the info. and gave it to the attending, who was unaware of Wegener's relationship with dysphagia. You learn something new every day, or at least you should.....
