I'm working at a new facility and have just been informed that the "juice
cart ladies" (volunteers who walk around the building distributing juice and
cookies) are not allowed to have any information re: any special dietary
and/or swallowing restrictions d/t privacy issues. I volunteer in other arenas
(hospice, etc.) where pertinent information is always shared. Can anyone shed
any light on this? It seems absolutely absurd to me.
