About the Program:
This one day program is designed to educate Otolaryngologists, Speech
language Pathologists and Singing Teachers on Advanced Topics In
Videostroboscopy.  Topics include fundamentals of videostroboscopy,
advanced interpretation including audience participation and panel
discussions, videostroboscopy versus high speed digital imaging,
troubleshooting, diagnosis and management challenges including
post-surgical issues, superior laryngeal versus recurrent laryngeal
nerve injuries, movement disorders, and management of benign lesions,
the speech pathologist's role in videostroboscopy, and discussion of
clinical challenges.  A special break-out session available for hands-on
experience for those new to videostroboscopy.

Program Objectives:
By attending this program participants will:
Discuss the fundamentals and limitations of a videostroboscopic
examination.
Discuss the interpretation of vibratory parameters in a
videostroboscopic examination.
Discuss the advanced interpretation of clinical challenges in
videostroboscopy.
Discuss the impact of videostroboscopic findings on surgical and
non-surgical treatment planning.
Discuss new technology including high-speed digital photography and
kymography.
