Re use of surface EMG for rehabilitation of dysphagia
At the Repatriation Hospital Adelaide S Australia we have several portable devices that we use for inpatient rehab and also for patients to use at home. We are using this with the principles in Maggie-lee Huckabee's research, baseline then looking at Mendelsohn manoeuvre, plus effortful swallow.

Hello All

Trying to find out who in the UK is using s-emg as a biofeedback swallowology
tool?

*** Since s-emg gives info only on muscle action (including artifact) and none on nerve function, how would you evaluate the latter?

Irene.
