Dear Velvet,
  You can go online and order very nice family friendly booklets from 
the National Parkinson foundation, Inc.  (www.parkinson.org).  Three 
of their booklets that I have found useful are:  "Speaking Out" which 
addresses speech and swallowing, "Caring and Coping" which addresses 
caregiver needs and "Fitness Counts" which addresses the physical 
aspects.  They send these booklets out for free although a donation is 
always appreciated.  There are also tons of website related to 
Parkinsons for further reference.  Diane
