[Dysphagia] Frazier Water Protocol

The original article was never published but I believe there is an ASHA
Div 13 Newsletter article that was published. I recently went straight
to the source and contacted Kathy Panther at Frazier Rehab in Lousiville
KY (502) 582-7483. She also put me in contact with an S-LP in Indiana
whose name I have now misplaced; he apparently has had amazing success
and documented outcomes in a chronic care/long term care setting. Hope
this helps.

Is anyone aware of any articles the SLP's at my hospital could utilize
to
back up the use of Frazier Water Protocol. I have searched the archives
but
am wondering how accurate contact information is due to the responses
being
posted in 1998. Has anyone had to back up the use of this protocol prior
to
instituting in their hospital/rehab? Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Jen Hampton
