I like the Servox (Inton or Digital) and the TruTone by Griffen Labs best.
They are both durable and the TruTone can use a regular 9V battery in a
pinch.

Subject: [Dysphagia] electrolarynx
Hello-
Our hospital has a new ENT who is starting to do head and neck surgeries,
including laryngectomies. It has been quite some time since this hospital
has had acute H&N patients (predates my arrival), so our electrolarynges
(the plural of electrolarynx?;) are really old and not working.
We have been approved to purchase a new one for patient training until their
personal electrolarynx arrives. For those of you who work with this
population frequently, what is your opinion of the best products on the
market?
Thanks in advance-
