[Dysphagia] emergency

  • Subject: [Dysphagia] emergency

I work in a small town/city (45k) in Sask. in a 100 bed hospital. I (am the
sole adult slp in the region) provide no weekend coverage. I used to when I
first started. I would come in of my own accord and see urgent swallowing
cases on the weekend or an evening, but I no longer do that and no one is
expecting that of me from an administrative standpoint.
If I had a colleague or two I would say it would be warranted and useful.
Kim

I work in Toronto and we do not provide weekend emergency coverage,
nor any weekend coverage for that matter.
