[Dysphagia] physios/chiropractors in swallowing rehab

Hi
I am a CranioSacral therapist.....unlikely that it can be fixed with one
manipulation.

I work wth children who have dysphagia , usually CP kids. we work a fair bit
in the mouth to get the suck reflex working and we also work alot on the
hyoid. But 1 maniplulation?..... I need to go learn from this person!!
CST does help but if it is a nerological problems theres much much more
work to do and other modalities (PT/OT/SP)are needed.

We do a fair bit of spinal manipulation which is really very helpful with
posture.

I have a lot of referrals from Speech therapists who find it much easier to
work after the CranioSacral Theratments....and I would consider myself a
fairly good therapist but if only it were that simple. :-)

That is a very frightening statement to make 1 manipulation .....???

cheers/Fezia
