[Dysphagia] Pharyngeal reflex Triggering



Welcome to the list.

For pharyngeal delay we measure from the moment the bolus passess the 
point where the mandible crosses the tongue base to the moment that 
hyo-laryngeal elevation begins. I am not in my office at this moment, but 
much of the literature promotes this definition for pharyngeal delay time.
