This is a delayed response to a previous response by Liza Sanders. I
received the following from Dr. Justine Joan Sheppard, when I copied her on
Liza's response.

There is a study of long term tube management that was presented by Dr.
Michael Kurtz in a panel that I chaired for the DRS in 1998. Dr. Kurtz's
paper was titled, Enteral tube placement, criteria and outcomes. the panel
was titled Dysphagia in the Adult with
Developmental Disability. Contact me for a copy of the presentation
summary.

Dr. Sheppard can be reached at jjshephard@worldnet.att.net
