[Dysphagia] bipolar

Hi,

I am wondering if anyone has any information/experience on bipolar disorder. I have a patient who has had severe bipolar for many years, she is currently on our geri-psych ward. Her medical status has been up and down and we have been working with her in regards to dysphagia and speech. She appears to have "pressured speech" which I have read is a characteristic of biplor. Right now her speech is clear in the mornings and can be almost unintelligible in the evenings. Her dysphagia has been so severe (she was silently aspirating) that she is currently NPO and has PEG tube.
I would really appreciate any information/advice anyone might have in regards to biploar and speech (any strategies, exercises etc) and biploar and dysphagia.

Thanks!
Mia
