The Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Department of University Hospital in Newark, New Jersey will be presenting a hands on workshop for the Fiberoptic Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallowing (FEES) on September 9 and 10, 2006. Susan G. Butler, PhD. will be instructing. CEU's and meals will be provided. Cost for the two day workshop is $400.00 and runs from 7:30 A.M. until 5:00 P.M. A few of the learning outcomes include: discussing how to interpret FEES and conducting transnasal passages utilizing a flexible endoscope (approximately 6-7 passes).
