[Dysphagia] Off topic (orders)

Does anyone know of any speech language pathologists who have been approved by their hospitals to write orders directly in the "physicians orders" section, without needing to be co-signed by a physician?? Please advise.

Subject: [Dysphagia] FEES Protocol

Does anyone out there have a protocol that they are using in an acute
care hospital for FEES? We are looking into starting this procedure
here at my hospital and I am gathering as much information as I can. I
practice in PA, where we are NOT able to pass the scope; however, I do
have an ENT that is willing to team up with us to complete the studies.

Any policies/procedures/protocols you may have will be welcomed!

Thank you for your time.

Happy Holidays!
