I am a clincial neuroscientist who has been treating patients of all ages
and pathologies for almost thirty years. I also teach physicians, including
radiologists re VFSS, SLPs, nurses, OTs, dietitians and others re swallowing,
it's identification and management.I have published extensively and taught
throughout North and South America and Europe. I have an extensive database much
of which is published as an encyclopedia of causes of dysphagia, another on
oral lesions, medications and their effects on swallowing, as well as a
clinical assessment tool. The reason I cite relevant references, always, is that I
prefer to make the point that I am not simply offering off the top of my head
opinion. I sincerely wish that those who take issue with my contributions to
this list, that have been made over the pas ten years, would do me the same
courtesy and the the list members, the same courtesy. You may check my
publications on Medline.
