  as I could show you multiple cases of multiple asp. pneumonia patients who stopped repeat admissions once placed on approp. liquid diets.   
  *** I must caution that the single element of changing fluid consistency cannot be used as proof of anything at all since all patients are different, stroke patients are going to get better anyway, comorbidities and/or the lack of them are vital elements as are age, medications, nutritional status, body temperature, albumin levels, innate immunity and a host of other factors, most of which are glossed over in much of the published material on the topic.
