Thursday 15th & Friday 16th June 2006 - Toronto, ON
Presented by: Canadian Working Group on HIV and Rehabilitation
Sponsored by: Continuing Education, Faculty of Medicine, University of

DESCRIPTION
This is a one and a half day workshop for rehabilitation professionals
that builds on interprofessional education initiatives, and describes
recent research and best practices to explore rehabilitation in the
context of HIV. People living with HIV are living longer, and may be
living with impairments, activity limitations and participation
restrictions due to HIV and/or its associated treatments. As a result,
rehabilitation professionals have an increasingly important role to play
