Sorry to take so long to get back to you. Bill Roche at St. Joseph's Medical Center in Paterson, NJ does FEES on peds with our otolaryngologist Dr. LaBagnara.

As to oral hygiene, the dentists usually recommend toothbrushing as the teeth erupt. If I am working with a child who is a known aspirator I ask the family to use a wet washcloth to clean the mouth out 3x/day to decrease the bacterial load in the secretions that are likely being aspirated.

Pediatric therapist looking for some resources/contacts regarding:

oral hygiene protocols for infants/peds?
utilizing the Frazier water protocol, or modified version of it, with
peds?

Anyone doing FEES on peds?
