  What you describe as chin tuck is not the full flexion against the chest described even by Dr Bronwyn Jones as a compensatory movement. Your version seems most appropriate as it does not interfere with anterior hyoid movement. I believe I have, over the years posted innumerable messages about "chin tuck" as normally perceived  not being a chin tuck at all, the latter being retraction of the chin into the "at attention" position.
