Kimberly,

I know what your talking about but I just can't recall where my resource was.  I worked briefly with a patient who had gastroparesis and reflux and I found something, somewhere about the jello as it was to be used every other bite or so to assist with motility (I think).

If the source comes to me, I'll re-post.  In the meantime you might poke around the GI sites, Google jello reflux/jello gastroparesis.
