[Dysphagia] Zenker

My experience with Zenker diverticula is that surgery is not a good option, especially in the elderly, that the diverticulum returns anyway, that the surgery itself is hazardous and debilitating. Some patients can be taught to expel the contents of the diverticulum manually before swallowing. If your patient is cognitively intact and willing to try it may be an option.
