4 Day Swallowing Workshop

This 4 day workshop is designed to provide:
--knowledge and hands on experience with radiographic and clinical 
techniques for evaluation of swallowing problems in a variety of patients 
(including neurologic and cancer patients)
--strategies for knowing when and how to implement interventions during 
VFG's and in therapy
--guidelines for discontinuing alternate feeding techniques (gastrostomy and 
nasogastric)
--observation and participation in evaluation and treatment of patients.  
Extensive review of videotaped x-ray swallow studies will be provided.

Class size limited to 16 (accepted on a first come basis)

Advanced registration required.  Deadline to register is October 4th.
