[Dysphagia] Zenker emptying

Many patients learn to empty the diverticulum by applying gentle manual pressure to the side of  the neck.  Since Zenkers are almost always on the left of midline, they can often be felt and emptied by the patient with a swallow immediately following pressure. There is an interesting article at:
