[Dysphagia] Efficacy of aphasia therapy in MS

Sorry for being somewhat off topic but am hoping that someone can offer some words of wisdom.
I have an inpatient with sudden onset neurological deficits (severe Broca's Aphasia, Rt hemiplegia) attributed to a flare up of her MS confirmed on MRI. She was treated with pulse steroids and then plasmapheresis with limited effect. Lupus cerebritis causing neurological deficits is also a possible factor. Can anyone comment on efficacy of aphasia therapy in this situation?
Thanks for any/all input.
