Do you have any suggestions on treatment of a patient 5 years post gamma knife surgery for trigeminal neuralgia? According to the patient, she was given "too many rads" which resulted in sensory loss and reduced tone in the right buccal area and lip. She currently c/o anterior loss of food from the mouth and buccal pocketing on side of the surgery. I'm afraid that any treatments that I attempted will result in facial pain. Any experiences that you could share would be appreciated.

Thank you,
Susan
