[Dysphagia] Blue Dye Test - Trach patients



When our facility used to do it, we had challenges with obtaining the dye from our pharmacy due to sterilization requirements, etc.  We eventually stopped performing the blue dye test due to chance of infection to some pts.

Just wanting some comments on anyone's experiences with doing the Blue Dye test with Trach patients and/or feeding patients on a ventilator.  Thanks!
