[Dysphagia] Cleft palate/lip baby

I have a cleft lip/palate baby at my hospital, which is my first live experience.? (Cleft/dysphagia coursework in grad school was done with Bill Roche).
This baby is in our nicu, born at 37 weeks, 6lb, 3 oz.? Mom had prenatal care x9 visits,?and has history of bipolar disorder and schizophrenia.? She was taking Halidol and, I believe a drug called abilify during pregnancy.? The baby currently receives feed via OG tube, but has been pulling it out.? I saw her for the first time yesterday and did an oral motor assessment which indicated an inconsistent and uncoordinated suck with?no tongue rounding to gloved finger.? After oral motor, lingual stim with compression, we attempted a very small amount of milk <1mL and swallow was triggered, but it's difficult to coordinate with squeeze bottle.? It is the first time I have used this bottle and I think I'm hesitant out of inexperience.?I am the only speech therapist at this hospital.? I deal with mainly a geriatric population and have no one to consult with live.?
Can anyone help me with the steps I should take.? I educated the mom on lingual pressure with gloved pinky.? I was considering doing a MBS to get more of an idea for timing of squeeze with baby's swallow.?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Amanda
