[DYSPHAGIA] CPR/Heimlich maneuver

Does anyone know of a printed "protocol" for CPR/Heimlich maneuver for a
child who wears a Passy-Muir valve?  I have a high-school aged student who
is a choking risk, and we usually establish a feeding protocol for high
risk students, including what to do if the student chokes.  I assume the
protocol would be much the same as for any other student due to the
one-way valve situation with the Passy-Muir.  I contacted the Passy-Muir
representative, and she indicated that the company does not have a
standard protocol regarding CPR/Heimlich.   Would you recommend using a
standard method with this student?  If the valve accidently becomes
dislodged during CPR/Heimlich, then what?  Replace it and continue?  Any
information you can supply would be greatly appreciated!
